Put the used objects in their places
Return the notebook, fold the used textile as appropriate, and move a chair back if it was changed. Keep the reset proportionate to the interval. A short rest does not need to end with a full inspection of the room.
If the pause followed a guided yoga session, keep the teacher’s relevant guidance with that context. The room reset is a practical task, not a replacement for individual advice about the activity itself.
Keep a useful observation, then finish
You might note that the room was quieter at a certain time or that another seat was more convenient. One short reminder is enough. Avoid evaluating the whole interval through whether you felt sufficiently relaxed.
Leave the next session open to the day you actually have. An ordinary rest may happen in another room or without a notebook. The useful ending is one that makes space for the next activity without turning relaxation into a project that is never quite complete.
